Lexus ES FAQ

1. Lexus has three models: high, medium and low configuration. The tail wires of medium and low configuration are different from those of high configuration, so they need to be distinguished. The CAN box is compatible with high, medium and low configuration models.

2. For high-end cars, the original car has a fiber optic amplifier, so you need to remove the front screen and keep the host at the back.

3. The air conditioning control of the mid-range and low-end Lexus ES models works. If the air conditioning does not display, check the following points.

① The OBD of Lexus ES is located under the main driver's seat. Check whether the OBD cable plug provided by the cable pack is connected to the OBD plug of the vehicle.

② The air conditioner still does not display after the OBD plug is connected. Check that the 6-pin of the OBD cable is connected to the 11-pin of the CAN box, and the 14-pin of the OBD cable is connected to the 12-pin of the CAN box. Note: The distinction between the two CAN cables, if they are connected in reverse, the air conditioner will not display.

③ The wire connection is normal, and the appearance of the plug is checked to see if there are any pins that are pulled out, bent, fallen off, or in poor contact.

④ Unplug the CAN box and measure the voltage between pins 11 and 12 of the CAN box and GND (ground). Confirm that the CAN line power supply to the CAN box is normal.

Normal high-speed CAN line voltage value.

The voltage between pin 11 and GND is greater than 2.5V.

The voltage between pin 12 and GND is less than 2.5V.

4. The problem of the square control not working: Because the CAN box does not take over the original car square control, the square control line enters the Android navigation host to learn and process.

5. The original car host will automatically shut down after use. This is caused by the box hardware problem and cannot be solved by upgrading the software. It can be solved by the following two methods.

① Disconnect the wires at positions 3 and 4 of the protocol box.

② Replace the CAN box with version 240912 or above.
